Booking information Make a Booking Booking Conditions Getting here Booking form Thank you for considering a holiday with Artemisia. Please take time to read the information that follows before completing your booking. The majority of the accommodation we use on our group activity holidays is family run and we often have exclusive use of the properties for our own guests. Some providers charge us on a per person basis and some on a per room basis. Our accommodation arrangements and prices are calculated on two people sharing a room. If you book as a single traveller you may be allocated a room to share with another participant of the same sex unless you explicitly state otherwise on your booking form. If we place you in a room of your own, we may have to add a supplement to cover our additional costs, but we will only do so in exceptional circumstances if accepting your single booking on this basis means that we need to turn someone else away. We will advise you of this, should it be necessary, and will of course then give you the opportunity to change your mind without penalty. Our policy is not to apply single supplements and we are delighted to say we have still never done so to date. What's Included? All prices quoted for Artemisia holidays are based on comfortable, well-appointed accommodation with ensuite facilities or facilities shared with guests in another room (towels and bed-linen are provided for your use). In addition to the rooms in our home, we also use small local hotels, B&Bs, and apartments which often have self catering facilities. Most of our holidays run from Saturday to Saturday. Accommodation
provided is on the basis of occupancy from mid-afternoon on the
day you arrive until 11am on the day of departure. In Tuscany, your
bags can be left safely with us, at your own risk, at Villa Bellavista
if necessary outwith these times. In Sicily, we will make arrangements
to store your bags locally if you wish. If your arrival or departure
dates don't coincide neatly with course dates, we can help to arrange
accommodation for you nearby or the surrounding area as required
and will quote you the prices we obtain from local hotels and guest
houses at that point in time. If you simply want to extend your
stay in Italy for a while we can help you with the arrangements
for that too, at very competitive prices.
Workshops and tuition generally start on the second day after arrival, with time built in to relax and explore. We will try to be flexible and to accommodate your interests as far as possible within group activities and will spend a short time each morning discussing and planning our day ahead.
